Moong dal halwa is a sweet which is prepared in n the occasion of diwali in most of the Indian homes. Leta prepare yummy, tasty and healthy halwa.
- half bowl moong split washed dal(green gram)
- 1/4th bowl desi ghee
- 1/4th bowl sugar
- cardamom powder,dry fruit of your choice
- one bowl of water
First of all soak moong dal for 5 hours. Make a fine paste of it. Saute in a thick bottom pan with desi ghee until paste get separated.
Now add sugar and water. Saute regularly until it takes halwa like texture. Add cardamom powder and dry fruit. Hot Yummy halwa is ready to serve.
