Moong dal halwa

This recipe of halwa was very tiresome until today. Today I tried this delicious and healthy halwa which took only 10 mins. to get ready and no previous preparation at all. So let’s see how I made it.

Ingredients:

Half bowl of moong dal

Less than half bowl of sugar

One bowl of water

Three tbsp desi ghee

Green cardamom powder (one pinch)

5-6 cashew nuts

Method:

First of all grind dry moong dal. Shift this moong dal powder into a thick bottom pan.

Add desi ghee and saute at low flame until get golden brown.

Add sugar, cardamom powder and water. Make the flame high and mix well until it get halwa texture.

Now add chopped cashew nuts. The flavor of desi ghee and moong dal is awesome. Serve your loved ones.
