These are the snacks which always loved by guests as tea sides.
I prepared mathris and namakparey with maida(refined flour) and suji(semolina).Suji makes it more crispy,more tasty and more healthy.
Ingredients:
- 250gm maida(refine flour)
- 2 tbsp suji(semolina)
- 1 tsp kalonji/mangrail
- 1tsp carrom seeds
- oil
- salt
Method:
We will soak suji in a water first and leave it for 10 mins. Take a big bowl for preparing the dough. Take maida in a bowl and add little oil and mix it well. We will pour oil little again until maida get binded like laddu. Now add all other ingredients and soaked suji. Now mix all very well and prepare the dough by adding very little water. The dough will be harder than roti dough. Now heat the oil in a pan for frying mathri.


Make very small balls and roll them with rolling pin and make holes with fork and deep fry them at low flame. It takes time to get done.

Namakpare will also get prepared like mathri but instead we will take one big ball and roll them and cut into pieces like shown in the picture.

when get crisp take out and serve with pickle.
